FOSTER FAMILIES MINISTRY
our focus is strongly in enabling and empowering families to minister to
children through Christian foster parenting. Second, our purpose in serving in
this way will be expressed in meetings that lift up families and children in their
work together, and in visible evidence by sharing resources, training, food, car
seats and infant items, school supplies and other items as we identify needs and
resources. To this end, Cumberland United Methodist Church and any other
local churches who may be able to assist foster families, will attempt to gather
such resources and contributions so that we can pass them on when
appropriate. Any help you may be able to offer, will increase our means of
reaching to others.
