Honor America and America's Veterans Sunday November 9, at 3:00 p.m. PipeSounds will present an all patriotic concert that features organist Rodney Barber. Let us honor our many veterans on this day for all they have done for our country.
“You Made a Way” Forrest Burdette UMC will host the First Baptist Church Choir on Sunday, October 19th at 4:00 p.m. Please join us for an afternoon of worship as we magnify our Awesome God for who He is and what He has done in our lives!

Good News Club We are excited to announce the Good News Club at Hurricane Town Elementary is planning to kickoff in November 2008. The Mission Outreach Team is prayerful you will share your time and talents the second and last Tuesday of each month from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please contact Sherry Smith or Ms. Karen if you can serve.
Fall Fellowship Retreat There is still time to register for the Fall Fellowship Retreat at Cedar Lakes on Saturday and Sunday, October 25th and 26th. Please check with Karen Ray, Michele Myers or Sherry Smith for further information. So far, we have almost 80 people signed up so you don't want to miss out on all the fun!

Helping Hands A Ministry of Mission Outreach is to provide to members, widows, single mothers, et al, of Forrest Burdette who are in need of minor home repairs, plumbing, electrical etc. who may not have the ability or means to perform these repairs. Learn to Use Your Bible Class Class taught by Tene Barcroft for children going into second grade will continue through Sunday, October 12th upstairs in room 307.
