Three-Year Old Class Four-Year Old Class
The three-year old class is open to children who will have turned three by September 1st. The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The maximum class size is 15, taught by a teacher and an assistant teacher. Please note that children must be toilet trained to attend. The four-year old class is open to children who will have turned four by September 1st. There are two options. Your child may attend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon or 5 mornings, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon. The maximum class size is 20, taught by a teacher and an assistant teacher.
Parent Participation

Each Nursery School family will be assigned "snack days" over the course of the school year, on which they are to provide a snack and drink for the entire class. On these "snack days" parents, if able, may attend school with their child. In this way parents are provided with an inside view of the workings of the program, can assist with the daily activities and have an opportunity to observe their child's participation in the Nursery School program.

Tuition

Our tuition is kept at an affordable rate, payable monthly, or in a two payment option. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee to register for the program.

Nursery School Philosophy

The Frankford Memorial Christian Nursery School has established the goal of helping young children to develop socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually in a Christian environment.

Each child is a unique individual with his/her own set of experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas and as a unique individual, each child is a valued and accepted member of the nursery school group. We will work to promote each child's development of a positive self-image.

The curriculum shall be geared to offer each child the benefit of learning through quiet and active experiences, child-selected and teacher-determined activities, with the opportunity for individual and group activities. Emphasis will be placed on developing positive interpersonal relationships and promoting verbal communication with peers and adults.

We recognize and respect the important role of parents. We view your participation in the Nursery School Program as essential. As a parent-teacher team, we work together to facilitate each child's growth by sharing observations, ideas, information, questions and concerns.
