The goal of Missions is to reach out to
God's people both locally and worldwide.

Generous giving of time talents and
gifts helps us reach this goal.
|
We support out Conference Ministry Share-
World Service and Conference Benevolences (which provides basic operating funds for mission work),
Black College Fund, Africa University Fund and District Board of Missions.
|
Our Mission program also goes the "second mile"
by giving to the Advance Special six lanes, which supports local conference and global projects.

Lane 1 - Support Mark and Rebecca Smallwood teachers at Redbird
Mission School in Appalachia

Lane 2 - Vietnam Initiative - served by Ut To
and Karen Vo-Tom who give pastoral leadership and theological training to Ganta Hospital
Emergency Support in Liberia

Lane 3 - PET (Personal Energy Transport) for mobility of those
with loss of use of their legs Special Offering for Peace with Justice ministries
|
Lane 4 - CROP - 34 walkers collected $3,128
|

In response to the Bishop's Emergency Appeal we sent $465 to Tsunami
Relief, $1774 to Hurricane Relief and $20 to Pakistan Earthquake

Lane 5 - An American Indian UMC in GR (Pa Wa Ting Magedwin)
Holland Vietnamese Ministry.

Lane 6 - Wesley Foundation at WMU, Clark Retirement House.
We also helped sponsor a $500 scholarship to the Community House.

Other givings included: International Aid and the Andre Bosse Center.
We collected mittens for local schools and toys for Christmas for Good Samaritans.

Our Pastor's Discretionary Fund also included help of local needs.
|
Special Sunday Offerings included World Communion,
One Great Hour of Sharing and Golden Cross.

We had Volunteers in Mission participating in Haiti, North Central
Jurisdiction and Clark Retirement Community.
