The Holiday Fair is coming! Only 2 months away!
November 8, 2008 will be here before you know it. Prepare now for a successful Holiday Fair.
The following tables/areas are in the planning stage and need ideas:
Plant table with small house plants in pots.
White Elephant table with used jewelry, hair products, good used items, and items left from last year.
Bake Shop with homemade cakes, pies, breads, brownies, cookies, candy, jams, jellies, etc.
Grannie’s Attic, a home for all those ‘treasures’ you are now willing to share with (sell to) the ‘outside’ world.
Handcraft table with knitted, crocheted, sewn, or otherwise hand made items.
A Silent Auction of new items donated by local merchants and vendors.
Book Shelf with used but in good condition books.
Food Court for a quick bite Saturday afternoon following the
English Breakfast of tea and scones Saturday morning.
We are hoping Santa will appear for the children and for pictures with the family.
Also present will be the Police and Fire Depts.
If you have ideas for the fair, or ideas for craft projects or any ideas helpful ideas or would like to chair a booth/table please see or call Rosemary Luzzi or Shirley Gilkerson (481-1143).
This is a wonderful opportunity to hone the hidden skills and talents given to us for God’s purpose.
Remember this is an all church event for the church. It’s a great opportunity to meet and work with other members of church and on the day of the Holiday Fair, November 8, 2008 to meet and greet the public.
